Type your name, check the date, pick the size. The strip sits at the bottom of the photo, which keeps its size.

Files stay on your device.

How it works

  1. Add your photo. It stays on your device.
  2. Type your name and check the date. Pick how the date is written: 06.11.2026, 06/11/2026, 06-11-2026 or 06 Nov 2026.
  3. Pick the KB and size, look at the preview in step 1, and download.

Where the name and date go

A white strip across the bottom of the photo, with the name on the first line and the date under it, in dark bold letters. With both lines the strip takes a fifth of the height; with one line, about an eighth. The photo is cropped first, so it keeps the size in cm your form gives.

Look at the sample photo in your form’s notice. If it shows the name and date somewhere else, or asks for them to be written by hand, follow the notice.

At a small KB

Text needs pixels to stay sharp. At 20 KB or less, keep the photo at 3.5 × 4.5 cm rather than a smaller size, and keep the name short: the letters shrink to fit the width.

Files are processed in your browser and never uploaded. FormJig is independent. It is not affiliated with any exam body, bank or government body. Always check your own form’s instructions.

Questions

Which date should I put?

The date your form asks for. Where it says "date of photograph", that is the day the photo was taken. The box starts at today’s date; change it if the photo is older.

Is my name saved or sent anywhere?

No. What you type stays on this page. It is not stored on your device or sent to us; reload the page and it is gone.

Can I put only the name, or only the date?

Yes. Leave the other box empty and the strip holds one line.

Should my name be in capital letters?

Type it the way your form wants it. We print exactly what you type.

Is 1 KB 1,000 or 1,024 bytes here?

Forms rarely say. We count your minimum at 1,024 bytes per KB and your maximum at 1,000, so the file passes either way of counting. The result shows the exact bytes.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. The resizing runs inside your browser, on your phone or computer. We tested every page with a network log: no request carried the picture. See the privacy page for the details.
