Privacy
Your files stay on your device. The resizing, cleaning and saving all run inside your browser. The picture is never sent to us or anyone else.
How we know: our automated test (Chromium, run on our own test server) opens every tool page, adds a picture, runs each size and downloads the result, while logging every network request the page and its background worker make. No request carried any part of the picture, and no request went anywhere except this site and the page counter below. We run this test before every release.
Saved on your device
Each tool page remembers the last size you picked, and the site remembers light or dark mode, in your browser's local storage. That holds only the numbers, never a picture. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Page counts without cookies
To see which tools people use, we count visits with Umami, an open-source analytics tool. It runs on analytics.answermend.com, a separate site run by the same owner as FormJig. It sets no cookies.
When a page loads, your browser sends Umami one small request with the page address (without any query string or # part), the page title, the site that linked you here (if any), your screen size and browser language. When you download a result, Umami gets one short event naming the tool page. It carries no file, file name, size or result.
From those requests, Umami works out your browser, operating system, device type and approximate location (country, region and city). Your IP address is used for that lookup and is not stored. Visits are grouped by an anonymous ID that changes regularly, so visits from before and after a change can't be linked. We don't sell or share the counts.
No cookies
We do not set cookies. There are no ads on FormJig today; if that changes, this page will say so first.
Server logs
Our host keeps standard server logs (IP address, page, browser) for security.
