Compress image to 50 KB
अपने फ़ॉर्म में लिखा KB चुनें
Under 50 KB, or between two numbers if your form gives a minimum too.
Sample: illustrated photo
Size your form asks for (KB)
What fits in 50 KB
50 KB holds a clear head-and-shoulders photo, but not a full phone photo at its original size. To get there we first lower the JPG quality, and only when that is not enough we reduce the pixel size.
Try it with our sample photo (1200 × 1500 px, 294 KB): it came out at 49.3 KB, 904 × 1131 px, quality 72%.
If your form also gives a minimum
Some forms say "20 KB to 50 KB". Pick 20–50 KB, or enter your own numbers. A small file is raised with real quality or pixels, never padded.
Files are processed in your browser and never uploaded. FormJig is independent. It is not affiliated with SSC, NTA or any government body. Always check your own form’s instructions.
Questions
Will a 50 KB photo look blurry?
Not for a face photo on a form. The tool keeps the quality at a readable level and reduces pixels first, and you see the result before you save it.
Is 1 KB 1,000 or 1,024 bytes here?
Forms rarely say. We count your minimum at 1,024 bytes per KB and your maximum at 1,000, so the file passes either way of counting. The result shows the exact bytes.
My photo is a PNG. Does that work?
Yes. We save it as a JPG, because a PNG photo is rarely under 50 KB. Any see-through parts become white.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The resizing runs inside your browser, on your phone or computer. We tested every page with a network log: no request carried the picture. See the privacy page for the details.
