Why 10 KB is the hard part

A clean signature is mostly white paper, and white saves very small. So the usual problem is not getting under 20 KB but staying above 10 KB. We raise the JPG quality first. If the file is still short, the result offers a light paper texture or a 10% larger pixel size, and says which one it used. We never add empty bytes.

Files are processed in your browser and never uploaded. FormJig is independent. It is not affiliated with SSC, IBPS, NTA, UPSC, Protean or any government body. Always check your own form’s instructions.

Questions

How do I make my signature between 10 and 20 KB?

Add a photo of your signature above. It is cleaned and fitted to 10–20 KB on its own; if your form gives a size in cm, pick it or enter it under My own size.

My signature is only 6 KB. How do I make it bigger?

Pick a larger size in cm, or use the button the result offers: a light paper texture or 10% more pixels. Both add real detail. Tools that pad a file with empty bytes can fail a form’s check.

Is 1 KB 1,000 or 1,024 bytes here?

Forms rarely say. We count your minimum at 1,024 bytes per KB and your maximum at 1,000, so the file passes either way of counting. The result shows the exact bytes.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. The resizing runs inside your browser, on your phone or computer. We tested every page with a network log: no request carried the picture. See the privacy page for the details.
