Under 25 KB with the face still clear. We show what had to change.

Size your form asks for (KB)
What fits in 25 KB
25 KB holds a clear passport-style photo, but far fewer pixels than a phone takes. We lower the JPG quality to a readable level first, then reduce the pixel size, so the face stays clear.
Our sample photo (1200 × 1500 px, 294 KB) came out at 24.9 KB, 703 × 879 px, quality 72%.
If the form says "less than 25 KB"
Up to 25 KB stops at 25,000 bytes, which is under 25 KB when a KB is 1,024 bytes and exactly 25 KB when it is 1,000. To be safe with "less than", open My own size and enter 24.9 as the maximum.
Some forms also give a size in cm, such as 3.5 × 4.5 cm. Enter it under My own size with the KB, and we crop to that shape.
Files are processed in your browser and never uploaded. FormJig is independent. It is not affiliated with SSC, NTA or any government body. Always check your own form’s instructions.
Questions
Will a 25 KB photo be blurry?
Not for a face photo on a form. We keep the quality readable and reduce the pixel size instead, and you see the result before you save it.
Is there a preset for PPSC or FPSC?
Yes, on the PPSC and FPSC photo resizer (linked below). PPSC asks for less than 25 KB in one document and not more than 60 KB in another; FPSC asks for less than 30 KB. That page shows both, with the sources.
Is 1 KB 1,000 or 1,024 bytes here?
Forms rarely say. We count your minimum at 1,024 bytes per KB and your maximum at 1,000, so the file passes either way of counting. The result shows the exact bytes.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The resizing runs inside your browser, on your phone or computer. We tested every page with a network log: no request carried the picture. See the privacy page for the details.
